Hi, I'm Mike

Chief Technology Officer

Mike Shutt is a seasoned technology executive, innovator, and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience designing and delivering scalable, enterprise-grade platforms across highly regulated and complex industries. As Chief Technology Officer at Juvo, Mike leads the design, development, and evolution of the company’s core technology infrastructure, ensuring that the Juvo Jobs platform remains reliable, secure, and intuitive as it scales to support tens of millions of users nationwide.

Mike’s career is rooted in solving real-world problems with smart, accessible technology. He previously co-founded Advectis, a groundbreaking digital document management solution for the mortgage and lending industry. Under his leadership, Advectis revolutionized how financial institutions processed loan documentation—paving the way for greater transparency, speed, and compliance. The company was acquired by Xerox Corporation in 2007 for $32 million, a milestone that solidified Mike’s reputation as a forward-thinking architect and strategic technology leader.

At Juvo, Mike applies that same vision and rigor to transform how hourly workers and employers connect. He oversees the architecture of the company’s mobile-first, location-aware platform, leveraging cloud technologies, advanced data modeling, and user-centered design to deliver an experience that’s both frictionless and impactful. His leadership ensures that Juvo Jobs is not only a powerful job-matching tool, but also a scalable solution capable of adapting to the evolving needs of both job seekers and businesses.
