Getting Started as a Job Seeker
To find nearby jobs in your area, download Juvo Jobs from the Google Play or Apple App Stores by searching 'Juvo Jobs.'
Once you've downloaded the app, open it and tap 'Browse Jobs.' Here, you can see nearby jobs in your area on either our map or list view. When you're ready to connect with one, create your account.
When you log on to the app, tap 'I Need a Job.' Follow the prompts to enter in your information and submit your details. If you'd prefer to browse jobs in your area first, tap the 'Browse Jobs' button at the bottom of the home screen. When you've found a location you'd like to connect with, tap 'Connect Me,' pick the jobs you're interested in and tap 'Submit,' and follow the prompts to set up your account.
Tap the profile picture icon on the top, right-hand side of the screen. Then, tap 'Add Photo.' Here, you'll have the option to take a photo with your camera in the app or upload one from your picture library. Make sure your profile picture is professional and appropriate- employers will be able to see this when you apply to their open positions!
Navigate to your profile and then tap 'Add Video.' View the sample video intro provided to learn more tips about what to do and what not to do when filming. Then tap 'Record a Video.' Follow the prompts to record (2) 15 second video clips, answering the question prompts below in each. To change the question, simply tap the arrows. After you're happy with your results, tap 'Accept' and wait a few minutes for your video to upload in the app.
In-App Experience
As a job seeker, you should include a profile picture, video introduction, most recent work experience, education, and any certificates you have achieved in your profile.
If you just had a career change or maybe you graduated from college, it's easy to update or change your information in the Juvo Jobs app. Navigate to your profile page, tap the section you'd like to modify, and then tap 'Add/Edit' at the bottom of the screen. Remember to update your information in the app as your professional life changes!
First, an employer will need to review and connect with you on the app. An employer has to initiate the chat, then you'll have the opportunity to respond. This is a great way to schedule interviews and learn more about the job you want.
Employers are very busy people and sometimes, they may forget to chat back with you. One or two follow up chats after an appropriate amount of time are suggested to ping the employer so that they are notified of your chat message. If you need help contacting an employer, please reach out the Juvo team in the app under the 'Contact Us' tab.
Sometimes, employers have company protocols that require them to receive applications from all of their future employees. If you'd like to work for the company, fill out the online application and chat back in the app once you are done to receive further instructions.
There are some business locations on the app that have not been connected with an employer yet. In this case, a member from the Juvo team will act as the hiring pro for that location and reach out to you via chat. Don't worry- they will answer any questions you may have about the business and provide you with the necessary information to get the job!
To filter your job search, tap the 'Filters' button on the map view. Then, you'll be able to set an 'Hourly Minimum.' Once set, tap 'Apply Filters.' Now, you'll only be able to see jobs in your area that offer that hourly minimum.
To view only jobs in your area of expertise, tap the 'Filters' button on the map view. Here, you'll be able to select different areas of interest that apply to you. Once you're set, tap 'Apply Filters.' Then, you'll be able to see all jobs in your area that match your selected interests.
General Questions
Employers will be able to view your name, profile picture, video intro, experience, education, and certificates. They will not have access to view your contact information.
At the moment, there is no one section on the app that has a compilation of all jobs you have connected with on the Juvo Jobs app. However, jobs you have connected with will display a green check mark beside them when you tap on them in the map or list views. If you are planning on connecting with several jobs and need to keep count, we suggest writing them down in your Notes app in your phone.
Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. Then, tap 'Referrals.' By tapping the 'Referral Link,' you'll have the ability to refer Juvo to your friends and family via social media, email, text message, and more. Once you've sent the referral link, make sure your party member taps on that specific link to download the app. To retrieve your bonus, 5 party members must download the app and create a profile with your specific link.
To retrieve your referral bonus, 5 people must:
1) Click on your link to download the Juvo Jobs app.
2) Create a profile using your link.
Once those actions have been met, your rewards meter should increase until it gets to the $ mark. If you believe you have completed all of these actions and you still have not received your bonus, contact the Juvo Jobs team by emailing support@juvo360.com.
Make sure you have 'Location Services' turned on for the Juvo Jobs app in your settings. Once they're turned on, restart the app. The map should show a blue dot in your current location after you have completed these steps. Tap the blue location icon in the bottom right corner of your screen to reposition the map to show your location.

Job Search Advice
The job search can be discouraging sometimes but don't give up! Sometimes, employers are busy or they move on with another local job seeker. Keep connecting with local businesses and don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and connect with jobs outside of your expertise. You never know where it may take you!
The Juvo Jobs app is rapidly expanding and will soon be in a town near you! If you live in an exceptionally rural area or don't see a large list of employers in our area, don't worry! Our team can still help you. Contact us in the app and a member of our team will try to connect you with businesses that are local to you, even if they aren't on the map.
