Juvo Jobs Partners with Our Place
Learn more about the partnership between Juvo Jobs and Our Place and how it will serve the disabled community.

ATLANTA, GA (February 28, 2025)— Juvo Jobs, a people-first platform connecting hourly workers with local employers, today announced a partnership with Our Place, a community platform allowing families in the disability community to access resources and services in their own neighborhoods. Together, the two Atlanta-based companies are launching a comprehensive ‘Employment Resource Hub’ designed to help families of those with disabilities gain access to job coaches, nearby work opportunities, and more.

The partnership combines Juvo's hyper-local technology with Our Place's trusted network of families, disability advocates, and service providers. Through the new ‘Employment Resource Hub’, families will gain access to:

  • Neighborhood-based job opportunities through Juvo's platform

  • Connections with disability-friendly employers

  • Vetted job coaches for personalized support

  • Career resources tailored to different ability levels

Across the U.S., one in four households includes a family member with a disability. For many of these families, employment is essential to building independence, yet limited employer awareness and a lack of centralized career resources create significant barriers.

"Our mission at Juvo Jobs has always been to help people find jobs right in their own communities," said Mark Emery, Co-Founder of Juvo Jobs. "Working with Our Place allows us to take that mission further by ensuring individuals with disabilities have the tools, support, and employer connections they need to build confidence, earn income, and thrive."

For Our Place, which serves thousands of families nationwide, this partnership represents a natural extension of the support they already provide around services, education, and community resources.

"Families want to know what jobs fit their child's abilities, which employers are truly disability-friendly, and what employment resources are out there for their family members,” said Megan Cortjens, Executive Director of Our Place. “By partnering with Juvo Jobs, we can offer a direct path from support to employment on one platform."

Transportation remains one of the biggest employment barriers for individuals with disabilities. Juvo's focus on hyper-local hiring directly addresses this challenge, aligning with both companies' community-first approach.

"Finding a job within your own neighborhood can make all the difference," said Cortjens. "It increases independence, reduces stress on families, and opens doors that many didn't think were possible."

With Juvo's nationwide presence and Our Place's expanding community, the companies expect the partnership to scale quickly and help families across the country find opportunities and resources that promote confidence, stability, and inclusion.
