ABOUT THE BLOG


The ‘Hourly Workforce Blog’ by Juvo Jobs focuses on publishing thoughtful insights and articles for those surrounded in hourly working spaces. Our content ranges from current trends in the HR space, to helpful job search tips and more! If you are interested in guest blogging, read on to discover topics covered, best practices, and more information on how to get featured.


OUR AUDIENCES


Our goal is to create a resources hub for the following audiences:


  • Employers, Hiring Managers, and Business Owners: Those who actively hire hourly workers and need to obtain information on current hourly hiring trends, or, those who need advice on hiring specifically within the hourly workforce


  • Job Seekers: Those who need job searching tips, at any phase in the hiring process, and who rely (or have in the past) on hourly jobs as their primary or secondary occupation


  • Payroll and PEO Providers: Those who have SMB clients, or clients who hire primarily hourly workers, and wish to follow current trends in the hourly workforce or share employer tips with their clientele


  • HR Enthusiasts: Those who want to keep up to date on hiring trends, HR stats or recent reports, and advice relative to the hourly workforce



OUR TOPICS


We publish a wide variety of content relating to hiring, HR, and the hourly workforce, including, but not limited to:


  • Current industry trends, data, insights, reports, or studies

  • Thought leadership pieces

  • Tips, tools, tricks, or compelling strategies

  • How-to guides, hacks, or helpful cheat sheets

  • First-hand accounts of experiences, examples, or ideas



REQUIREMENTS


Best practices:


  • Desired posts are between 750 - 1200 words in length.

  • Our audience is used to digestible, bite sized information. Bulleted lists, numbered sections, and casual language are critical for our busy readers.

  • Including images or gifs can be useful- please only use original graphics or screenshots. Any stock images must be legal to use and royalty-free.

  • Posts should include:

    • Title

    • Short intro ~150 words in length introducing your topic and telling the reader about the post content

    • Author name, bio, and (optional) headshot. You can include links to your website or social accounts


We do not allow:


  • Previously published or sponsored content

  • Too many backlinks

    • Post can include a maximum of (3) to your site, including the link in your bio. External links to other sites that are not your own are okay for image citing or stat sourcing.

  • Overt promotion

    • We do not accept posts that serve as advertisements. You can reference your company once in the post. If you choose to allocate all (3) of your site backlinks, the other (2) must point to blog/resource content only, not to sales landing pages or the like.



EXPECTATIONS


To increase your chances of being featured on the blog, we highly recommend submitting a working title and brief outline of your idea before writing. All posts are reviewed by our marketing team and may be edited for grammar, clarity, formatting, voice, or tone purposes. 


If we are interested, we will get back to you in a timely manner, no later than 4 weeks. Please note that by submitting a post, you are granting Juvo Jobs permission to publish, edit, and promote your piece. All promotion guidelines will be discussed with our marketing team should your pitch be chosen.
